The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to declutter your kitchen. You’ve had twelve full months to use the room (provided you haven’t just moved into your home) and the holidays have just gone by.
This means that you would’ve had the opportunity to see what you’re using in your kitchen and what you’re not using. Also, you should know where your problem areas are e.g. your kitchen island a magnet for clutter.
The 2019 Kitchen Declutter Challenge is a great way to get rid of all the junk and start fresh.

Introducing the 2019 Kitchen Declutter Challenge
What is it about?
The 2019 Kitchen Declutter Challenge is a free 7-day plan designed to help you clean and organize the most important spaces in your kitchen. The result will be a beautiful and functional workspace that you’ll be happy for anyone to see.
You’ll receive daily emails packed with step-by-step tips to help you clear out clutter and the inspiration you need to keep going.
Why Start with the Kitchen?
The kitchen is usually the hub of the home. It’s where you cook and where everyone gathers to do homework, pay bills or just hang out and chat. Sometimes, it’s also near to a main entrance so people dump stuff there as they come into the house.
Add in all the food you bought but never used that’s just sitting in your cupboards, expired ingredients and the kitchen becomes a hot mess fast.
There are tons of benefits of an organized kitchen so let’s take the time to put things back in order so you have a usable space again.
What You Need To Do
For seven days, you’ll be sorting through the areas of your kitchen that’ll get you the biggest bang for your buck. Once you’ve finished these spaces, you might be ready to do more.
All you need to complete this challenge are some boxes and trash bags.
You’ll also need a copy of the Kitchen Declutter Checklist. It’s a free handy printable that has all the tasks set out for you. You can have the satisfaction of ticking each one off when it’s done. (I can’t be the only one who enjoys that.)
