10 Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas
1. Tickets
Is there a show or event that you know your man will love to see? Maybe there’s a sporting event he would be excited to attend. If he loves a good laugh, get him tickets to a stand-up comedy show or let him enjoy his favourite singer live at a concert. Even tickets for a theatre performance, would be great, if you’re lucky to have a sensitive guy who enjoys plays.
2. Electronics
Men love electronics of any kind so Amazon’s Echo Dot might be a fun gift. The Echo Dot is a voice-controlled device that plays music, controls smart home devices, provides information and more.
3. Subscription Box
There are plenty of subscription boxes out there that would make fantastic Valentine’s Day gift ideas for the man in your life. Some examples are Dollar Shave Club, Birchbox and Trunk Club. You can find boxes that include grooming supplies, clothing or a little of both.
4. Gift Card
A gift card may seem a little impersonal for a Valentine’s Day gift but it allows the recipient to select something that he really wants. If you know your significant other loves music, then get him an iTunes card. If the relationship is new or your man just seems to have everything already, you really can’t go wrong with an Amazon gift card because he will surely find something on Amazon that he likes.
5. Spa Certificate
Pamper your man. Seriously, who says no to a soothing, tension-releasing massage? You can also give your sweetie a gift certificate for a manicure or pedicure. I’m sure he will love the opportunity to relax.
6. Clothing
If your significant other loves to get dressed up, some new threads may be just the right Valentine’s Day gift for him. Even if he’s not into fashion, you can still treat him to some soft clothing that he can lounge around the house in.
7. Sweet Treats
Does your man have a huge sweet tooth? Indulge him with some candy or baked goods. You can either buy them or make your own. Fresh brownies straight out the oven will drive him wild. (While you’re at it, you can bake some for me too because I love chocolate.)
8. Home-cooked Dinner
One way to a man’s heart is through his stomach so prepare a home-cooked meal that he won’t forget. If you want to add an extra edge, play soft music and maybe, light some candles. I’m sure your efforts will be appreciated.

9. A Handwritten Note
In this age of technology, we just don’t write letters anymore. How about you surprise your sweetie with a simple heartfelt note telling him how much you care about him and why? If you’re embarrassed to be present while he reads it, tuck it in his pocket as he leaves for work and ask him not to look at it just yet because let’s face it, expressing your deepest feelings can be difficult. It may surprise you how much this letter will strengthen your relationship.
10. Quality Time
The gift your sweetie might appreciate above all the others that I mentioned is your time. Sometimes, we get so caught up with life that we barely have a few moments to devote to our loved ones. Simply spend some quality time on the couch actually talking to each other, watch a movie or go for some ice cream and a quiet stroll together. Let him know that you are the best gift he could ever receive.
