Each week you scrub, mop and vacuum. And then, guess what?
The next week you get to do it all over again!
Yep, cleaning can be a pain and few enjoy doing it.
The solution is to use cleaning products that really work. If you’re using a vacuum cleaner that leaves a trail of dirt behind as you go, then you’re wasting your time. It doesn’t make sense putting in all the effort to clean when what you’re using to remove dirt is just letting you down.
This is where my list comes in. It contains the ten best cleaning products for you to try that will revolutionize your cleaning routine.

10 Best Cleaning Products
1. Swiffer WetJet
Mops are actually pretty gross when you think about them. They are basically collectors of all the dirt and grime in your house. Most people never really sanitize them, just rinse them off and put them aside until the next use. Yuck!
The Swiffer WetJet is an all-in-one mopping system that cleans pretty much any floor in your home. It’s even safe for use on all finished wood floors.
When you’re done mopping, simply throw the pad away and attach a new one. You no longer have to worry about spreading years of dirt and germs around your home the next time you clean.
2. iRobot Roomba
The iRobot Roomba is a vacuum robot that cleans an entire level of your home. It recharges and resumes progress until the job is complete. This amazing cleaning robot navigates from room to room, under and around furniture.
Use the iRobot Home app to schedule cleaning from anywhere. Newer models are even compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Come on! A tool that can actually vacuum for me? The only thing that would make it even better is if it could feed me grapes! Maybe, future models will be able to do that.
3. Dyson Cord-Free Vacuum Cleaner
You know you’ve become an adult when you start drooling over a vacuum cleaner and that my friend, is exactly what I’ve been doing. I’m not even ashamed to admit it.
I hate lugging around my bulky vacuum cleaner, all the attachments and my nemesis—the cord. Ugh!
I have had my eye on a Dyson V8 Cord-Free Vacuum Cleaner and have begun budgeting to swap out my old-fashioned vacuum. Everyone I know, who has similar models, is in love with them. This light-weight, bagless vacuum cleaner, not only picks up dirt with its powerful suction, it also comes equipped with the ability to capture allergens and expel cleaner air.
Other features are a battery charge indicator, washable filter and it converts to handheld in a snap.
4. Windex Outdoor All-In-One
Cleaning windows is a tedious and somewhat dangerous job. You usually need a ladder and many people end up in the hospital because of accidents involving ladders. So, eliminating the use of one, whenever possible, is a win in my book.
Enter the Windex Outdoor All-In-One system. It uses the Windex formulation that most people are familiar with and gives a streak-free finish. Isn’t it annoying when you clean windows only to go inside and realize they’re full of streaks? Anyway…
A single water-activated pad allows you to clean up to 20 windows and the extendable handle reaches approximately 11 feet. If you live in a single-story home, this product will be great for you.
5. Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner
I don’t know about you but there’s nothing I hate more than a smelly toilet.
Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner is one of the cleaning products on this list that I used VERY frequently. Instead of just running down the sides, its thick formula coats the toilet bowl giving the product time to work. And work it does!
This toilet bowl cleaner disinfects and removes nasty toilet rings without harming your plumbing or septic system. The angled bottle lets you target hard-to-reach areas like under the toilet bowl rim for maximum cleaning.
6. Clorox Wipes
Clorox Wipes let you clean and disinfect in one easy step. Each cleaning wipe has the power to remove 99.99% of germs that can live on surfaces for up to 48 hours.
This is another of the cleaning products that I use very often. I use the wipes to sanitize the seat of the toilet and to remove dirt and grime from kitchen and bathroom countertops. Another way I use them is to clean light switches. Have you seen how dirty those things can get? Think about how much action they get every single day!
These anti-bacterial wipes work to remove common bacteria like Staph and Salmonella along with cold and flu viruses and even allergens like dog dander on a variety on hard, non-porous surfaces. They’re convenient to use and eliminate messy cleaning liquids. I just grab a wipe from the dispenser and go!
7. Mr Clean Magic Eraser
Don’t you love it when the name of cleaning products get you excited to use them? A Magic Eraser? Yes please!
The Mr Clean Magic Eraser sponges provide powerful cleaning with just water. No smelly chemicals that you have to worry about.
Typically, I use these to brighten up my stair banister which is painted white. (I swear that wasn’t my idea.) But, you can use these all over your home to remove dirt or marks from your walls, bathtub, oven doors and so much more.
8. Resolve Easy Clean Pro Carpet Cleaner Kit
If your home has carpet or rugs and you have children and pets (or you’re just clumsy), then you need a way to remove stains.
The easily accessible dispensing trigger and ergonomic design of the Resolve Easy Clean Pro Carpet Cleaner Kit makes it a good solution for removing stubborn stains. It works well on wool and nylon carpets and is ideal for high-traffic areas like stairs and hallways.
9. Goo Gone Original Spray Gel
If you’re into crafting projects or have kids, Goo Gone Original Spray Gel can be one of those indispensable cleaning products in your arsenal.
It removes all manner of sticky, gummy or greasy residue including chewing gum, makeup, crayons, stickers, labels, glue, markers and the list goes on and on. The gel formula clings to stains without dripping everywhere even on vertical surfaces. It’s definitely a must-have product in your home.
This product also comes in the form of wipes and a mess-free pen for precise control and coverage.
10. Non-Stick Oven Liners
You’re baking a yummy casserole for dinner and it smells oh so good. It’s finally time to remove it from the oven and get down to the serious business of eating it—your favourite part of cooking. But, when you open the oven door, you see that your lovely casserole has bubbled over the edge of the dish and dripped all over the bottom of your oven. Now, you have baked-on food to clean up. Yay!
It happens to the best of us. You could place your casserole dish onto a cookie tray to catch any drips but that just gives you something else to clean up so my solution is non-stick oven liners.
Even though, you technically don’t use the liner to clean, it’s one of those cleaning products that you will wonder how you ever lived without it. The oven liners make life so much easier and for that reason, they’re on my list.
I’m not going to tell you that by using these cleaning products you will suddenly enjoy cleaning. Let’s keep it real. But, they certainly will reduce the amount of time and effort you dedicate to keeping your home spotless and unless scrubbing is your thing, that is something most people want.
